OWYN "Only What You Need" In my opinion the extra cost and weight of a 4x4 version of an on-road truck (if available) is not worthwhile. On my travel to remote places almost all local truck and busses are rear 2 wd. In my case i will ad Rear diff lock, slightly bigger wheels and a departure angle off ca. 30°. On the floor plan the main idea is to be able to use all functions such as sleeping, sitting, bathroom use and cooking for two people without making room for each other. The choice for a Mercedes Vario is a compromis: On weight (7,5 T) , size ( with use off overhang it will fit still on normal parking spot) Height (ca. 3.25 m) Modern engine (acces to city with environmental zone)
